For twenty years in this country we have tragically abused our food. Mass produced, factory farmed, fast food you select the buzz word, what it means is that we are not enjoying our meals. I want very badly to change that – we should all be junior foodies even gastronomes – we need to relish the things we put in our mouth. In attempt to improve our relationship with food I’ve started this site (well my friends have) so that recipes and restaurant reviews are readily at your fingertips. I’m a long time member of Slow Food an organization that believes that we should eat food locally, in season, and in community. Because of this I want to celebrate traditional recipes, creative dishes for produce we have forgotten how to use and most importantly the idea of eating with (cooking for) your friends and loved ones. I hope you find this space helpful.
